Privacy Policy — Food Verdict

Food Verdict is designed so that your data never leaves your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information.

Data we collect

None. Food Verdict has no user accounts, no login, and no servers of our own. We do not collect analytics, usage data, advertising identifiers, or any personal information.

Camera and photos

Food Verdict uses your device camera (or a photo you select) to read printed food-ingredient labels. Images are processed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision, Translation, and Natural Language technologies. Photos and scanned text are never uploaded anywhere and are not shared with us or any third party.

Information stored on your device

The ingredients you choose to track and your scan history are saved only on your device (and in your private iCloud backup, if you have iCloud enabled). We have no access to this data. Deleting the app removes it.

Purchases

Food Verdict offers a one-time purchase to unlock unlimited scans. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Third parties

Food Verdict contains no third-party SDKs, advertising, or trackers.

Children

Food Verdict does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
